How Donations are Used

Unless the donations are specifically designated for a project or fund, they will be allocated in the following manner:

  • 40% – Scholarships and Student Grants:Scholarships for elementary, high school, and college tuition as well as grants for supplies (books, pencils, paper, desks, mattresses or whatever is needed to enable a girl to attain an education).   • 20% – Micro Loans: Loans for business started by women. For additional information on how these funds are used, see Small Business Enterprise Support.
  • 20% – Project Grants: Support for projects that benefit women, such as funds to attend conferences and training seminars. For additional information on how these funds are used, see Project Grant Support.
  • 20% – Administration:Office supplies and equipment, travel, staff, financial management – to responsibly administer the funds generously donated and ensure their appropriate use to support women and girls throughout the world.
